Indian firm scripts success story in Germany In 2004, Indian firm Bharat Forge Ltd acquired the family-owned German company of Carl Dan. Peddinghaus in Germany’s biggest industrial region, the Ruhr basin. India’s Ashok Leyland invests in Germany’s Albonair India’s second-largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland Ltd, has made a strategic investment in Germany-based Albonair GmbH for the development of vehicle emission treatment systems and products.

Drawing Indian investments for eastern Germany With the release of a report on investment potential, Berlin hopes to draw investors from India's booming economy to carve out new businesses in Germany's eastern half.
