boot 2010: a water sports experience The world’s largest trade fair for yachting, water tourism and water sports, boot 2010 is underway. More than 1,500 exhibitors from 55 countries are displaying the breadth of the water sports world in the city of Düsseldorf through January 31. The fair is also known for invigorating the booting and water sports industry, especially with its array of international exhibitors.

German wind sector soars thanks to government support and exports In Germany, 21,100 wind turbines are spinning. Thanks to government support, the German wind energy sector is soaring despite the economic downturn. In 2010 the electric capacity is expected to grow by 20 percent as compared to last year, according to the German Wind Energy Association (BWE) in Berlin.
